More Body Shop offers...

The Body Shop have yet more offers!

To celebrate the release of their Smoke and Fire make up range they have free delivery on all orders until the 26th of September. PLUS a half price make up brush when you buy any make up item.

I recently got hold of this little cutie after seeing it over at Secret Beauty Blog..

At just £3 it's a bargain, especially with free delivery. It's great for exfoliating and gentle enough to be used daily while still leaving your skin soft and smooooth.

Have you got any recent beauty bargains?

£5 off Naked Bodycare!

It's Naked's 5th birthday and to celebrate they're offering £5 off any order of £10 or more...

You'll need to use code NK5BD

They also have free delivery on orders over £20 so well worth stocking up!

Naked don't use SLS, parabens or petrochemicals in any of their products and the ingredients are at least 97% natural (things like preservatives and emulsifiers are still used in some of their products). They also don't test on animals, ethically source their ingredients where possible and the bottles that their products are sold in are anywhere from 50-100% recycled!

I've tried quite a few of their products and haven't come across any that I don't love.. The Angelica foam bath and their Coco De Mer foam bath in particular are amazing! A little goes a very long way, the scent fills the room and they feel wonderfully indulgent without the price tag (£3.99 for 300ml!)

An overlooked colour in eyeliner world...

... Grey.

I'd never really thought about grey eyeliner before. I've stuck with brown eyeliner pretty much everyday for the last few years (with the exception of the odd blue or green day) and decided recently that I needed an alternative. With black being (in my opinion, although maybe more experimentation is needed) slightly too harsh for my skintone grey was the next colour I came across.

With trusty £5 off No7 voucher in hand I discovered this... A blue grey eyeliner which on first impressions looks slightly old fashioned, almost a lavender shade to the grey but ends up looking wonderfully smokey, subtle yet quite impressive... An unexpected result!

It's wonderfully smooth yet not too smudgey that you create one giant mess if you so much as touch your eye and it stays put all day.

Layered this is a great alternative to black and perfect for daytime, plus at just £2.50 with the current voucher (valid till the19th of September, and given out with purchases of £5 or more till the 12th) it's a bargain!

Amazingly smudge proof with impressive pigmentation I'd recommend you try it!

Cherry Culture not-quite-shopping...

Cherry Culture have 20% off till the 30th of June (thanks to Charlotte for the heads up!) so I went over to have a look and found myself in a frenzy of "adding to basket"...

I love nothing more than being able to put anything and everything I even vaguely like into my basket and then proceed to chuck it out later, it's part of the buzz of shopping online. Am I the only one who does that? You can't do it in real shops, it's a right pain!

One of the NYX Runway Palette's in particular caught my eye and so that went in too. Finally I whittled my selection down to two palette's (total of just $10!) and 2 lipsticks for a total of $15 which then goes down to $12 with the 20% off... Until you add shipping, which in all fairness isn't unfair at all, it just turns a giant bargain into only-just-on-the-verge-of-bargain-land. Which is a shame. I may well end up doing it all again tomorrow and actually buying the stuff.. We'll see!

At least I got a nice buzz out of throwing everything into the basket! Anyone else find you end up in a much better place mentally after a nice lot of nearly-buying on the web? Or is that just me?! ;)

My love for Fragrance Direct...

... Cheap nail polishes galore!

And so much more that I've yet to explore...

(Just look at that poetry!)

I've only tried out their nail polishes and I'm really impressed, I recently got 3 bottles of Rimmel polish (60 seconds, lasting finish and an I heart one) plus a Miss Sporty colour for around £4! There doesn't appear to be anything different about them, they may just be end of line.

Rimmel's 60 second polishes are a bargain at 99p (at least £2.99 in store!).

Plus their postage prices are cheap at £1.95 yet super fast, I ordered my last little lot on Sunday and got them today! Always really well packaged too.

Really really worth popping over to have a look

Happy shopping bargain lovers ;)

Superdrug has...

... FREE delivery on their website until the 20th June (Father's day!)

The perfect time to stock up on MUA items if your local store doesn't have them- when the range costs £1 an item, £3 for postage leaves me whispering "3 more items! I could have had 3 more items!" ;)

NOTD- Rose Libertine and Konad!

I went into Boots yesterday and took advantage of their 3 for 2 offer. I took a risk and picked up a Rimmel 60 seconds polish (after my last one that took half the day to dry!) in Rose Libertine, which I really love, it's a gorgeous colour and it's perfect for summer.

The Xpress brush makes it really easy to apply and the formula was much better than my last Rimmel polish which was wayyy too thick and gloopy!

I decided to do some Konad..ing? with plate M38 and a design I've not used before. I wasn't really in the mood to spend ages getting it perfect and I'm quite happy with the vaguely abstract result that this has produced! I personally think it adds a little character to my nails if they're not all uniform and perfect! However, even with that attitude my little finger nail is awful, please ignore it's existence ;)

Anyone else been buying up all Boots' nail polish while they have 3 for 2 on so many make up items?

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails

For weeks I've been thinking I should get some of this and putting it off, but after the horrible sight that I was met with with I removed my last nail polish this became essential....

My nails are chipped/flaking to halfway down the nail on some fingers, and on others the layers are separating at the tops, they bend really easily and break and are really flexible and thin, it's not good!

Sally Hansen say that this "protects your nails against housework, water, detergents and everyday hazards. Hard as Nails with Nylon forms a super strong, super smooth coating that reinforces the nail surface, edge and tip to help prevent chipping, splitting and breaking...." I'm feeling hopeful!

Today's the first time I've applied this, I'm going for 2 layers (allowing them to dry well in between) and will see how that goes, just hope it works and it doesn't make my polish peel off!

I'm hoping to give you an update some time in the next month or so, depending on how fast I see results (if at all!)

Boots currently have buy one get one half price on a lot of their Sally Hansen things, so now's the time to have a look! I think I paid just over £4 for this today, which seems pretty reasonable!

Have you tried Sally Hansen products? How did the work for you?!
