Lip balm love.

A while a go I was stuck for lipbalm inspiration and a lot of you came to my rescue! These are the ones I'm currently using:

Nivea pearly shine- perfect for adding a bit of extra shimmer to a lipstick or for toning down a bright colour, very pretty!

Palmer's cocoa butter formula lip balm- Not too slippy yet very moisturising which makes it my first choice for under lipstick.

Blistex relief cream- this is the one that I reach for when my lips are cracked and sore, it works well whatever but I like to use it overnight and within hours lips are soft and hydrated.

Blistex daily lip conditioner is one I use every night to maintain lip hydration, it smells lovely (as it contains cocoa)

Vaseline- I generally use this on top of a lipstick or for when I know I'm going outside to protect my lips.

Burt's bees lip shimmer- Rhubarb and Peony- perfect for days with less make up, colour and great moisturisation all in one!

L'Occitane shea butter lip balm- by far the most expensive of the bunch but smells beautiful and does a wonderful job for day-to-day moisturising!

Superdrug currently have 2 for £3 on Blistex products so it's the perfect time to get your hands on them!

Nivea's Refreshingly Soft Moisturising Cream review!

I picked this up a couple of weeks ago for the wonderful price of £1- Superdrug- for 75ml, with the idea of using it as a night time moisturiser for my face (it says on the front that it is suitable for use on face, body, hands) which is a job it does pretty well, it definitely leaves it silky smooth but you need to be careful not to smother your face in it as I think it could block pores due to the texture of it. 

It's definitely one to be put on right before bed though as it leaves you wonderfully shiny, but with it being a night time moisturiser I'm not overly bothered by this.

The blurb on the back says "Nivea Soft, a moisture sensation! We love this highly effective formula with Vitamin E and Jojoba Oil because it is quickly absorbed, leaving your skin soft and smooth. Enjoy the revitalising feeling of long lasting moisturisation on your face, body and hands everyday."

The cream has a lovely texture, soft and creamy yet not too thick, and the signature Nivea smell, which I personally really like. It does an amazing job of moisturising my annoying bumpy arms and it keeps the moisture in remarkably well without leaving any kind of greasy residue on top of your skin.

You really can't go wrong with this for the price, it doesn't roll off (pet hate!) and it does it's job perfectly! There are different sizes available of this particular moisturiser, it's not just limited to the 75ml, but it's an ideal size to take on holiday as a do-it-all product!
