Randomeyes Boutique

The great thing about being a part of the lovely big network of handmade jewellery businesses is that you get to discover so many amazing businesses. Just about every one is unique, bringing something new to the market and keeping it fresh and exciting.

One of the first I came across was Randomeyes Boutique, who describe themselves as making "alternative handmade gumball jewellery and accessories.  Kitsch earrings, necklaces, bracelets, pins, magnets, mobile charms, keyrings, hair accessories...and now mirrors - all with kawaii inspired googly eyes!"

I thought I'd show you a few of my favourite pieces...

Amazing pink sprinkle donut mirror! Found here
cute cherries keyring
totally unique colgate toothpaste charm!
You can find their website here and you may just find that something of theirs appears as a giveaway prize very soon!

What do you make of quirky kitsch jewellery and accessories?

Weekend Update...

It's beautiful and sunny outside today, and I'm really looking forward to warmer weather, the winter seems to have gone on for ever this/last year! Pretty dresses and skirts, summer-y make-up, sitting outside blogging and editing pictures- a job that goes so much faster when you're sitting in warm sunshine!- eating ice lollies and going to the beach.

I'm hoping to have a giveaway up in the next few weeks, I might save it until my first blog birthday next month. I've already started getting bits and bobs together and I hope you'll like them as much as I do :)

Since I've been on the Facebook scene for handmade things I've seen so many gorgeous pieces, I'll have to show you a selection in another post, the talent is amazing, I could buy so much!

Today I'm looking forward to taking some pictures for new blog posts, making some jewellery bits and getting things tidied (I love tidy!).

What are your Sunday plans?

Jewellery Love...

I love jewellery, in particular I'm a big fan of necklaces and bracelets and I find it hard to pass up the opportunity to add to my collection, even if I am running out of room!

One of my favourite places for high street jewellery has got to be Dorothy Perkins. They have some amazing sales which are around just about all of the time and their jewellery has a pretty wide range of styles.

Yesterday I picked up a few more sparkly treasures...

Glass bead necklace- £10
Gold leaf necklace and rose earrings- £2
Bow ring- £1
Rose ring- £2

Have you picked up any bargain jewellery recently?

Handmade jewellery sale! *revised post!*

Last weekend I mentioned that I'd been making some little bits of jewellery and I thought I'd put them up here for sale in case anyone was interested. They'd make perfect Christmas or birthday presents or just to keep for yourself! They come in an organza bag and will be posted in re-used padded envelopes (save the planet and all that jazz!)

These handbag charms could also be used as keyrings, attached to zip pulls and a number of other things! The clips used to attach the charms are very secure and very unlikely to come undone unless you want them to.

Orange (plus red, yellow, browns) handbag charm with gold star pendant on the end....

Pink handbag charm (this one looks much better in real life... I found the colours really hard to capture!)

Multi - Orange, green, blue.

Multi- Pinks and browns

Millefiori bead earrings

These are just a few of the colours I can make, if there's anything particular you'd like then do get in touch with me, queenofturquoise@gmail.com

Charms are £3 each plus £1 postage for the first item, then 50p for each additional item up to a maximum of £2.50. Earrings are £1.50 plus 50p postage.

If there's anything that takes your fancy then please leave a comment or drop me an email at queenofturquoise@gmail.com, and I'll get back to you :)

That's it!
