Liz Earle Energising Body Lotion

Anything that claims to be energising is welcome at this time of year when everything's a bit gloomy and dull- including skin.

Liz Earle's new body lotion has been released with perfect timing to coincide with new year's resolutions and the cold, dark weather.

Naturally active ingredients...

Formulated with gingko biloba, caffeine and ivy- amongst many others!- this relatively thick lotion is lovely on the skin and the smell is amazing!

I personally don't wear perfume when I've used this as it's really quite strong and lingers on your skin for a number of hours after application. The smell does remind me slightly of the superskin concentrate that I couldn't stand due to the strength of the scent but this is much more manageable and it's perfect to use after a morning shower.

It works well to moisturise dry skin fast and although I can't test the toning properties fully my skin definitely feels firm and hydrated after use.

A very enjoyable product to use and one that's perfectly suited for winter use!

Available from the Liz Earle website a 150ml tube costs £16.50, also available in a very cute 30ml tube- perfect for a pick me up through the day!
