NOTD: Collection 2000 Button Moon

I picked this up yesterday in Boots, for the bargain price of £1.79- it's currently 2 for £3, but there wasn't anything else that I was overly keen on...

Application was easy enough, a little streaky perhaps and the brush isn't great, but I didn't have too much of an issue with it. Unfortunately I currently have no top coat (hurry up ebay!) and consequently I have chips despite only applying this yesterday afternoon. Admittedly I wasn't hugely careful when applying but I still find this disappointing. Hopefully with the addition of a top coat longevity will be better.

It claims it's fast dry, and I don't dispute this too much, though as I've found before Collection 2000 Hot Looks is more of a medium speed drier, for example, on toenails socks need to be avoided for about an hour which is a shame, and longer than say, a No7 stay perfect which makes no claims to be fast drying! Fast drying top coat again fixes that though.

Overall I absolutely love the colour and the high gloss finish, even on my stubby little nails I like it! Application's not great, and neither is drying speed. The price however makes up for this to a point!

Ooh, wish I could pull off red or orange! I'm far too pale to do so though and would look slightly odd I'm sure ;) I really do love this colour though! xx

haha i use the orange when i have fake tanned too much, makes my hands look a little more normal! i think rimmel's lasting finish double decker red would look fabulous against pale skin, it's kind of a grown ups pink, i love it! xx
