With my bright pink nails (Rimmel have asked me to send the polish back so they can have a look at it, and they'll refund me by the way!) and this rather gorgeous skirt here (Primark, £5) all I need now are a set of minnie mouse ears!
I've had a chance to have a proper play with the Primark gel liner that I bought and have conceded that it'saloadofcrap. Smudgy, doesn't set, ends up everywhere, practically impossible to apply without it getting all over your entire lid- that's some kind of special skill it has!- I've given up. Not too much of a loss though after only paying 25p though ;)
The souffleye eyeshadows however hold a little more hope, used over my GOSH eyeshadow base but under my usual eyeshadows it makes a neutral look a little brighter which is great! They take a bit of getting used to, although they look highly pigmented in the jar here if you apply with fingertips as suggested on the packaging then you have to layer it on to get that same colour on your lid... If you use a brush you get a much more polished look and better pigmentation straight away. Overall, happy with the 50p I paid for this!!
I'll try and get a picture of the "boring" eyeshadow duo in use today, but don't hold me to that ;) my camera's not always the best at picking up the colour on my lids, so we'll see! I'm also thinking today might be the day to start trying out the Primark fake tan.. Eeek! Just hope I don't turn out like a Wotsit! Hope you're enjoying the sunshine today (or if there's no sunshine where you are, please don't hurt me!)
