So after my request for suggestions for lip balms to keep my lips at a decent level of non-chappedness Burt's Bees came up, and I decided on a coloured one.
Ingredients include sunflower oil, beeswax, cocoa seed butter, lanolin, vitamin E, peppermint and rosemary leaf oil and carnauba wax. The balm itself is the perfect consistency, it transfers easily from the tube to your lips and it stays there really well. It has a peppermint scent that smells very natural and not sweetened up which I really like.
The lip shimmer that I got my hands on is the shade Rhubarb and it's described as a "Luminescent and sheer colour" I would say that it's colour isn't that sheer once on the lips, though swatched it does look it. It's only a couple of shades darker than my natural lip colour and it's lovely, not too overpowering and still natural looking. It's currently my first choice over lipstick as my lips are needing a lot of TLC and this provides that as well as some colour!
These retail for £5.99 on the Burt's Bees website though a quick search will find you certain colours (including Rhubarb) at clearance prices on other sites so it's worth looking around before buying!
Are you a Burt's bees fan?

I love this site queenofturquoise.blogspot.com. Lot of great information. I am Tech guy. I have been a Desktop Technician since 1997 but have tons of other interests. In my spare time... Oh, wait I don't have any of that (just kidding). Anyways, I have been aware of this website for quite some time and decided to join the community and contribute as well as learn a lot from others. I am excited to get started on the forum and am looking forward to a great journey together. Lots of potential friends and I look forward to meeting many online.
Thanks :)
